Nice to see you are OK Chris - even if you do have a dodgy choice in boats!

TD looks very neat and well put together, if you need someone too test the ejection capabilities of the RHIB I'd be only too pleased to help

Picture taking last autumn when my younger son Ingi Bjorn (Ingi "the" Bear, in English translation) tried out Bear Grylls boat by himself (he is boatmaniac) in Reykjavik on the cross Atlantic challange, me standing next to him.

If Chris shows up in Iceland he is be more than welcome to stay in one of our bedrooms and he can have the Hummer for driving around to try out the muscle vehicle this ofcourse this will also go for you too Willowkis.

Bogi,

Chris is VERY tempted to come out to Iceland now.... I think the Hummer has persuaded him

Is it expensive to come over? Can you suggest any places to visit and places to stay etc?

Kim

As from April 1st there will be two flights a day out of Stansted return trips would be available from GBP 160 (www.icelandexpress.is) from Heathrow you can choose from 12 flights a week and return fare from same amount (www.icelandair.co.uk). Once you are staying in Reykjavik we have bedrooms you are more than welcome to use then driving the country you can choose from hotels to farming B&B which is very popular. There are so many interested places it is difficult to name but a few like Gullfoss (Golden waterfall), Geysir (hot springs), Blue Lagoon, Þingvellir (our national park) Snæfellsjökull (where Jules Verne´s novel down to the circle of earth is written about) etc etc
