Looks like they have stuck the top from a Bladerunner 35 on top of the old boat. Are they still looking to run in P1?

I hope they will get the results their dedication to P1 over the seasons deserve now they are going for the evo cup, remember watching this boat race in the US when it had loads more horses under the hood and it ran pretty quick back then, are the original surface drives still being used if so I assume re-gearing them for petrol is not a problem ... I had wondered many times how well the boat would have done in Supersport if they had been running Merc 525 in her instead of the diesels and if they had how suitable the hull would be for petrol over it's original design parameters of a diesel set up

Are those the Sterling engines from OSG Donzi that raced Evo some seasons back I wonder and rated if I recall at 650hp apiece, guess the petrols being lighter in the ass end and having to add a couple of hundred Kilo's over the Supersport set up could be very beneficial in re distributing the boats weight

Ahh thanks JF ... if I recall someone told me the boat in the US with the 850-900hp+ Seatek engines ran in the 120+mph region but probably weighed in at within a few hundred kilos of the weight the boat will have to be for the Evo P1 regulations at 1500hp

how do the teams secure down the extra KG's needed especially when it add's up to 1000Kg or more in some boats without it moving around and causing damage with the pounding these craft take during the race as I have never looked to see

Surely a 'prize' should be something desirable?
