Took the boat out today to clear some cobwebs,
Solent was at it's snotty best so went up the beaulieu river for a break.
Tide was right and i made it right to the top.
Just about enough time for a quick coffee before it started running off.

Did the Beaulieu River Harbourmaster catch you for fees to use "his" (Well, Lord Montague's) River ?
I'm not sure how much they charge per boat these days.

Nope, he was just sat in his office, don't even think he looked up.
on the way in i passed a couple of rozzers in preventer and a police rib doing stuff in the mouth of the river.
shot them a wave and they waved back.
then on the way out the inshore lifeboat was doing manovers off the shingle bank. but nobody asked me for a shilling
