First time I'd seen it unwrapped.

We even had a stowaway. The poor little guy must have gotten in before the boat was shrink wrapped......two years ago.

We hope to have the boat in the water by the weekend.

Things are going remarkably well. Prices for everything range from cheap to reasonable and the locals are friendly and polite. Then again, how could we not like it here when a bathroom window affords this type of view.

Ben,

If you remember - we were buying a farmlett - Well the deal finally completed last Monday!

( Four months to complete a deal with a willing seller, willing buyer, empty property and no chain at all! )

Yes Marc, I do recall you were after a rural property. Congratulations now that it's finally completed.

We had the same situation selling our house in Bolney. Willing seller, willing buyer, no chain upward or downward (we were leaving the country and the buyer was renting) and it took three months for the deal to complete.

From first casting eyes over our house here to moving in took four weeks. Could have been done in three but we delayed for a week for our own purposes.
