Jon can probably confirm or deny this but i seem to remember back in the early 1990's Roger Severy was supposed to be having a similar Hydrolift to this built to race Class II but it never appeared, always remember thinking from the design pictures what a nice looking boat.

mats original rib cat achieved 120 mph i think ,he took me out in it when i went to sweden to repair the tubes and we got up to 96mph before it porpoised under the water and back up again and the mad f....... just kept going .it was fitted with an 8.5 ltr ,850 horse power engine i think ,photos are on my wesite www.tidel.biz .the original tubes had to be reshaped at the stern as the spray of water was cutting through the tubes .most uncomfortable boat ive ever been in ,grp rally car seat no padding glassed to 3x2 timbers that were glassed to the hull ,slightly hard ride

Still looks awesome for me. Though I don't like the noise it makes, and I'd love to see more power from this beast. But who cares? I love it!
