Never tried Carlton, but I would already agree with you that it's probably better than Bud!

I used a 28/14 TE Cleaver with the 225 for ski racing (89mph boat only and 80mph with 2 skiers) and a 30/14.5 offshore Cleaver for boat racing (94mph)
I would say a 30 Lightening ET might be the go on the 250xs
So its testing time
