looks fast just standing still..great job ...just 1 question regarding the bottom of the transom.."is it flat bottomed further up the hull as i cant make it out"?? the reason ime asking is that my marshan has a flat bottom on the rear and its a bit of a handicap regarding high speed i think and it also makes a hell of a lot of dirty water before the prop..or am i talking bollox

That looks really good!
Is this the R20 that was sold on ebay about 8/9 years ago? It had a paint scheme with loads of starts stripes?

Some info about the T20 here:
http://www.hydroline.se/MARINE/index-marine.html

And cool little film:

Funny you should know about that boat, that was my dads boat with the stars and stripes. he painted that for OCR racing back in the mid 90's. thats the boat i always wanted. but on his first day out the chines broke off!
This happened to a few of the T20's that were brought over here.
After the problems i was finding with mine and decided i was going to cut it up i cut a 4" hole through the floor to get a cross section of the chines and this one had the same problems.
Glad i did stop when i did as i would have been gutted to restore it fully then take it out and the chines break.

The rear of the hull you can see is just a small recess, about 8 inches. some Ring 20's had it as do the Argo 21. It acts more like an incorperated gill bracket.

Not sure about the dirty water bit though. flat pads generally help pop the boat up out of the hole and run the boat higher out of the water (i only say this from my own experimenting)

looks good. You must be chuffed to bits after all the hardwork. Not quite on the same level but hoping to have mine on the water next week which will be the first time since I brought it in feb. Everyone keeps saying it will be worth it but after cutting/grazing my hands to the bone over the last few months I have started to doubt them!!!
Anyhow, looks great - nice job
