That is just amazing seeing those lovely grives on a standard boat!! And the dash aswell was briliant. Will be interessting to follow this tread closely and see what numbers you get. What gear ratios and props are you running?

Cheers from Norway
Thank you.

The dyno pull was interesting. With 6 1/2 pounds of boost we saw 1078 hp at 6000 rpms.
the torque curve was nice and flat. Torque was 1040.
This was on pump gas.

The engine builder bumped the boost to 7 1/2lbs and ran some 118 octane VP race fuel and easily went over the 1200 hp mark.

Should make for an interesting ride in the near future.

Too Old, what life expectancy does the engine section have when running at that sort of power?

I'm honestly not sure what to expect. I'm an older guy [53] so I'm not as hard on equipment as I once was. I spent a good bit of money on the rotating assembly hoping to build something durable. The boost at 6 1/2 pounds is pretty mild. The motors will receive regular maintanence from the engine builder.

So, I hope to get a few seasons. before they need freshening. I can't afford to duplicate them any time soon.

Don't look for any numbers soon. He just fixes them up, leaves them on the trailer and sells them. He does not like to get his boats wet
