We have a One Design class in APBA. These batboats are built and maintained by Chris Reindl www.reindlpowerboats.com The first boats he bought from Ocke had to be shipped with their wings "clipped", as it were, for shipping. They were reattached for racing, but they tended to tear away from the body. So Chris got permission to build them here.

The bats can be rented and raced, which is the cheapest way by far to get into Offshore racing here.

This B28 has had its wings "clipped" the owner, Annika Wrenklers farther, said he had to cut them off to get it in his garage!!

whilst were on the subject of B28s here is another, check out the Exhausts from the inboard. I reckon they should speak to M Pascoe for some nice shiny ones!

I see theres someone in the boat whilst its being craned in over someone elses head, and not a hard hat in site, there so relaxed over there!!!
