New marathon boat
I've been working this beast this summer and was thinking about entering it in the Round Britain.
Anyone gets in my way, gets craned out. (release fee £80).

After insulting the styling of my beloved Phantom 28, you're officially fair game old boy.
Just wait till the 'Gent from Kent' hears! More bloodshed & dead horses!

My parents have just booked a rather pleasant hotel on the Island for the duration of the British Powerboat Festival 2010.
They will be taking in the delights of the Garlic Farm and the other tourist attractions that the Island is renowned for.
Would it be rude of me to suggest that you and your co-driver do similar?
As I am sure you are aware Cowes is a very difficult place to get around, no stair lifts / toilet facilities for older people / Bingo is only once a week in the Legion.

Mike, he's suggesting you're an uphill gardener.
The thing is Mike, you're a funny lot down there, but you should be proud of your somewhat 'alternative' sexuality. Look at Johnny Rocket of Brighton, He's as proud as punch about his and it doesn't come any more 'alternative' than his!
Stand tall man, nothing to be ashamed of!

We will alight upon the Island well equipped with Incontinence underwear as advised by our respective GPs. Thank you for taking so much interest in your Elders and Betters.
(Aside to Mike L. "What a well mannered and nice young man that Ciao is ")
We will of course rub Garlic all over ourselves to repel the unwanted attentions of the Great Unwashed as manifested in the form of the Ginger Roly Poly Clown Ensemble, who no doubt will also be present during the celebrations.
We may miss the bingo a little but dont worry we have our playing cards and whist rules on board, excitement enough indeed !.
:
If you care to visit our craft over the festivities we would invite you to try a sample of our TCP potcheen , this little number goes down a storm with Ladies of doubtful provenance and age that we attract .
We will have our portable still in action so drink all you wish and we can also supply a small amount as 'Take Away ' to help you get your 'Leg Over' at one function or another that you may attend .
Mike

Oh you know me. Try anything twice, that's my motto.
Anyway, that orange things is clearly not a Ring. Far too modern and sleek for a start. And it hasn't got tubes.

To be fair, Mr Ring is quite a stalwart of the RHIB manufacturing scene.
He has real passion for them, and their now 'legendary' seakeeping ability, not to mention the brave folk that buy & use them. He is in awe of them.

You don't need to look for them, rather try to stay on the causeways between.
