May take you up on that at Weston.
I agree with your comments about quick enough for F2 there is hardly anyone that will out ski one.
I am definately considering one but will compare the ride quality to the Bernico which in my opinion is the best I have driven or riden in (limited experience I know)
The problem with the Bernico is getting one on time and the price, somewhat different to the Cyclone.
I think this time before buying I will calculate all costs of different options before deciding, unlike when I bought the Bernico and had no idea what the final cost would be. (40k)
I would also build my own trailer this time and not just design it and pay someone else to build. (2k just for metal work untreated) 5k total

Cye,
Has your old phantom come back to Weston?
I saw it the other day and wondered if you had brought it back?

Not yet (as I`m a lazy barsteward) but I think I know what the problem is. Just to confirm my theory I gunna stick the airbox back on, basically I think I`m getting water going straight down the throat of the stacks!! Got some rubber seal as well today from work so should be sorted know.

Whats the reasoning of making an outboard just like Randy Davis's twin drive inboard of the USA? Did Ross from Cyclone boat co. give the ok for this?

Its just sad that you guys from the UK cant build a boat on your own. You gotta go out and make an "almost" identical copy of someone else's. I know Ross from Cyclone sold the race molds to the UK and thats ok, but c'mon, now this? MAKE SOMETHING ON YOUR OWN. Be independant and DIFFERENT.

You're having a Giraffe!
I see from your IP address that you're in the US, and from what I can see, there's only ever been ONE design in the US, and quite literally, everyone has copied that!....very original! not.
I think that if you take a proper look at the history of performance boat design, there's been more than a fair share of unique and groundbreaking designs from this side of the pond, than from your own.

Cye, the moulds will be pulled into the factory within the next few weeks to have the first boat made from them. We(me & lobbers) intend to use the 2100 for racing next year as it is a quicker hull than the 600xs. Looking to have one up and running in basic form for the september RMYC club classic finals.

Being from the US I doubt he knows what "Having a Giraffe" means so I'll translate:
'Having a Giraffe!!!' means 'Having a bubble!!!'

Cool would be good to use something different.
Do you intend to redesign the deck?
Do you have any photos of the current 2100?
What Engine are you going to run on yours.
Cheers

Thats would be an "almost indentical copy" of a Phantom, Ring, Marshan, Sharp and even the 600xs. I think you should do something completely original like erm putting a nice rockery and or flower bed where the original screen was!!!
