Us Vids

Work slack again Nige, trawling for vids. That clip of the Popeye mono (the boat that rammed and killed Halpern ) shown in the 1980 Benihana is quite tame compared to Sea Sweep in the same film, but not shown. You don`t often see a 38 ft mono go up at nearly 45 degrees with the prop 10ft off the sea.
They do that all the time out of sight of land, reportly.I remember the ciggy `I like it too` was supposed to have swapped ends 6 times in a flat calm Needles race and still was battling for the lead with Bonomi`s Dry Martini.
Classic days old boy!

45 Degree Yellowdrama

Yeah, right.Taken from 1972 `Greatest Race in the World` off Torquay to the strains of `You ain`t see nothing yet`.See Boatmad Multimedia.Typical Ken Cassir.Blind as a bat and couldn`t see the big hole he was approaching.
