Not Something You See in the Solent!

Not exactly the type of thing meant for this forum but nether the less an unusual boat I see every day during my ferry ride to work and this one came quite close to us

And made by Boeing!

There used to be Hydrofoils running back and forth from Southampton to Cowes prior to the red jet cats, but they were the oul Russian fellas.

I never understand how those foils stay put! They look like they'd snap off if they hit an object in the water.

We used to have hydrofoils running between the Islands right up until the late 80's. Bloody awful they were when they came off the foils and stuffed into a wave. They used to be called the puke foil ferries.........
