Taz (or anyone else for that matter) I am obtaining "stories" for my page in Sports Boat and RIB, so if you would like to send something to me I will try and include it in an upcoming special on the entrants for Round Britain that I hope to write this month if I have enough material!

Mark - Could be interested in your story too!

Arriving in NZ on 3rd March and leaving on 24th, I was going to be in Wellington for a race, but the schedule has changed and I won't be able to go there now - are you still there?

As far as RB08 on my boat is concerned, it is at the lower end of the class (in size), and with a life raft and spare engine to fit as well it would all be a bit much really! Still looking for a package though as it is a race that will have lots of stories to tell for the people who take part - that bit is for certain!

I think this thread is more about what we can do to make Taz's entry viable not showboating about our own history.

The 4 litre boat with a pair of 200 Verado's running in RB4 class would have a lot of potential!

I am gobsmacked. Someone asked a question about buying a seat in a RB8 boat and got shot down for it.

And someone needed some funds.

We have 4 guys in the team all sharing the race costs. It makes it affordable.

I wasn't comenting on the situation with Taz, his ride, or his financing of his RB entry.
It seemed to me like a fairly unprovoked attack on Carl and I don't really understand what Carls racing crudentials have to do with his comment that apeared to offend you, other than maybe an attempt to belittle him, or to establish your superiority.

ho hum
