I think you are right on this...im solving which v6 L-legs are "bolt on" suitable for ficht powerhead and do the swap later...
Hopefully next week there is some videoclip in youtube of this disarter

The guys in the state's are opening up exhaust with no problem check out scream and fly mate, and Ian Hutchinson on here has done it too.

First time on water yesterday evening...what an experience!!! Engine has torque and power like too much...
I was in a little bit hurry and there was air left in the hydraulic steering. Even though boat run like a train...darkness and concerne of steering gave result of 96km/h to gps...and i think that gaspedal was just on its half way to floor...
I´ll fix steering tomorrow and go for a new test run with video cam... I have high hopes for this boat

...nope....it´s typical dog after 108km/h...if you try to trim it when it revs 5400, china walk begins...hoping to find l-mid engine. I don´t wanna rice this engine too high because of the weight.

You really need to find a 20" mid, and while it's apart I'd put some solid mounts from 'Jenksam' on Scream and Fly in there. Made a big difference on mine, much easier to drive

Now i have 225 yamaha with L-mid and goes like train. 68,36 knots with 28" mercury chopper II.
see video - i´m from 3:33.
2:40 is argo 18 and Marshan 21 promax 300, which has 78 knots topspeed.
