Phantom 20 and Evinrude 250 project
Hi everybody!
...and thanks Rick for boat and other mates...
Phantom did arrived in Finland for few weeks ago and Merc bridgeport is at new happy owner...
Today I installed hydraulic lift and Evilrude 250 direct injection 2004...it´s with XL-midsection and doesn´t look too nice...I knew this when I bought it, but any better choices wasn´t available...
Prop will be Raker 26" for first try..
I´m hoping to reach 130km/h with this package
...more pictures to come.

The 250 ficht (DI) is an awesome motor and as some have shown the big rudes go well on the p21 but it does need to be on a 20" mid.
Good luck

Don't know! Renegade would be able to tell you.all I'm saying is you need to get the cog as low as possible.lots of grunt to high is not good.good luck with it tho.i'm sure it will go well.

No 15" mid, you can get a 16" mid from Taylor marine, it's all money though.

You would say that lol, the fact that it weighs 235kgs, revs like a diesel & the saddles going to fall apart is besides the point.

After having a 200kg, 20" 300 promax on the p20 and seeing the improvement when changing to a 15" I'd 'plus 1' that.

On a serious note, A heavy engine, on 25" leg, running a raker, at 80mph.... sounds to be like a recipe for disaster, be careful.

...that is so true...I'm not going to get upset, because I allready knew what xl-mid causes on boat...250 or 300xs would have been my first choice with 20 inch mid. There is no race class in Finland for those engines, there fore there isn' t too many available.
If xl-mid is impossible to drive, i'll try sell evinrude and find more suitable engine...maby from UK...
