You've already had the hoses.

Do I need to get another fitting for it? (Can't remember what the hose ends are like)

-6 JIC for hoses out to the rams.
Pump flow & return ports will take the hoses I gave you directly in.

Ahh! I is blind! (To much wanking as a teenager)
What I've got are already are:
a) Pair of hoses from power steering pump
b) Pair of hoses brazil valve to ram hose
So reckon I need to get a pair of hoses to link the rams?

There are two male-male fittings there, one is obscured by the piston rod.
Yeah, you'll obviously need the pipework & fittings tween Brazil valve 'nipples' & external rams.
The vacant looking threaded hole you can see is the valve location bolt holes (where the internal ram used to live), one of two, the other is also obscured, this time by the male - male fitting you CAN see.
...Kinel you're mekkin this ard work!

Cool. Don't suppose you know what working pressure these things need to handle?
Think auto do female -6 push in brass & 18 bar working pressure, 70bar burst on Aeroquip FC332 hose.
Don't really have a feel if that's sufficient or not-gonna go for a google.

I wouldn't use 'push fit' on any of the high pressure side of a steering system! Consequences if it all goes tits up are a little high.
I've got some hose remnants in the garage, i'll look at the rating in the morning. You want the re-usable hose ends like the ones that came with your Mayfair rams. ......more orders from IMCO?

That's interesting. After a big of googling, I can see the hoses I've got already are Aeroquip 2663-6 hose & brass end fittings & finishers. This setup has a rating of 250psi & 1000psi burst. That's exactly the same ratings as aeroquip FC332 hose combined with brass fitting that think auto can supply, except slightly different hose cos 2663 hose is obsolete.

It's up to you dude, it's your boat, and your passengers.
But...IMCO, Mayfair, and Latham all use steel reinforced hose for the high pressure side. It may be more of a 'wear resistance' thing (most 'push-fit' being fabric reinforced) but hey.
this is the hose supplied by imco, 2250 psi MWP, steel reinforced.
I've got about 5-1/2 feet of it, if it helps.

The first two pics aren't 'posted' in the normal way. they are hosted on a server, and 'hyperlinked' to in the post.
They are 800 x 600. the max size you can 'post' is 640 x 1500

Just been out to check what the hose on the HP side of the steering pump is - 1125PSI WP. So that answers the question of what rating I need, shoulda though of that initially.
