One more from early testing - still loads more set-up to go yet and much more prop testing.

Also engines are on 25" shafts and plan is to go 20"

She is running in the low 90's (mph) - but should pick-up some more yet. As said still more prop testing to do and general time on the boat / engines, then 20" shafts.

Also trying to keep the set-up sensible and not sacrifice handling for speed too much. So engine heights are very conservative - may look at going higher once the engines are on 20" legs.

Will certainly be interesting to see their progress.

I would have thought the Verado would of had too high center of gravity for the boat to handle well at those speeds. Well done. Boat looks cool. Im spending the weekend over at Dads, should push him to get it in the Mag!

Will you be racing this?

Hi Tom
Yes - the Verado set-up was the worry from my side at least. Especially with the 25" shafts.

As soon as all is set-up and trails completed I will issue a press release / photos etc.

At one stage I was looking into bringing an 888 into this country and do some racing - but a lot of other things needed to fit into place first and cannot see it happening this year. Also I have a few race designs going through and I will to be honest pretty busy helping out with those teams and really I get a lot of satisfaction from that side of things. It also gets very difficult if I'm racing against any clients so another thing to consider.

Hopefully I will get out to Greece and test the above 888 though.

Catch up soon
Adam
