been working hard over the last 2 weekends, lots of filling trailer scars and holes with gelcoat ready for spraying,
in this pic i have given the hole repair in previous pics a skim coat of gelcoat to blend it in with the rest of hull.once sanded it should all be nice and flat ready for primer

one interesting point ,i found a small area that had a void still in it,remember that started off the hole repair in the first place,i thought rather than go through the whole process again of cutting it out etc and as it was small i would drill a couple of holes in the area and inject gelcoat.when injecting it it went in the first hole and came out the second telling me it was completly filled up!
perhaps with hindsight thats all i needed to do in the first place, but ho hum we live and learn and all good fun!

This is a very clever idea and works really well.
As you know once the tabs are removed and the hull is upside down there is a total lack of places to put your mug of Tea or a paint pot hence the cut out.

Why guess ask Terry he's a member here

Not much progress with mine so far. rub rail needs finishing, hull bonding together etc etc, Gav thinks about 3 weeks or so.
