Plus about another 6" higher deck (in old money) by the look of it.
This was my Revenger 25 in 1984. Won every race entered (12) as there was only three others in my class (Sports Cruiser A) fitted with 290hp Volvo V8 with straight through exhausts (sounded great) all on a 290 drive with a chopper prop. Top speed 62mph on a good day. You can see how long ago this pic is because of the wooden piles in Cowes!

I've only just seen this pic of your Revenger Mike.

I've a feeling it belonged to a pal of mine in the late 80's

His surname escapes me right now, Kevin, he tried to sell it through Nauticalia in Shepperton around that time.

Very nice.

Was talking about 'Tangle Foot' yesterday with friend from LA - it would make an excellent candidate for the newly formed COPOC.

What, "Lite Relief".

That was Pete Berrows Mediteranee or however you spell it.

I dont think John "Butty" Burden ever raced his 25 sport, that was his "Love Boat".

Sorry, been away. Painted Pink, how dare they. Wondered what happened to it. It served me well but as so often happens I went and purchased a faster boat mostly 'cause Disprin was going so fast and I REALLY wanted to stick one on Colin Stewart! It's a pity those Revengers aren't made anymore as they were very good race boats in most seas as Colin proved in the 1984 Round Britain coming fourth overall, Some feat that..

Sorry chum, far too long ago and in the depths of time. I can't remember what happened yesterday let alone 22 years ago. Wish I could help but can't.

Was just pointing out their latest RIB - which is somewhere between a hard top and a RIB!

Interesting! I didn't think Trio did the moulding for Revenger any more!

Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time a 'off the record' Revenger emerged from their factory.

A second thought re your request, I'm sure Volvo could tell you the gear ratio of the 290 leg in those days and we had to use quite a large chopper prop to get over the problem of "blow out" from the drive leg. They weren't very streamlined in 1984 and I think we were at the very max of it's capability. I remember Volvo were surprised at the speed we were getting. Hope that helps.
