Ring 15 finished!
current speed estimations are 45mph+, gets a bit of a wiggle on around those speeds, motah is a stock Tohatsu 70 set quite high.

The boats around 2002 I believe, built by SCM, engines a 2001.
All paid for by my bros marine engineering apprenticeship and his mates part time job. My student loan is intact

Looks a nice little rig, shouldnt get any problems with the Tohatsu either, change the prop for a bit more speed! Those seats look a bit like the Captains!

their shape is nowt alike. However I did use the early Extreme marine's Honda 21 boats uphoulstery colour in mine.
Waves 15 ring was one of the boats made by South Copast Marine in Hondas attempt to intoduce a smaller (think 50hp) 4-stroke series..................... it never took-off, however they all got a similar look hence the same red trim.

Tohatsu's lovely runs really well, the revs are currently in the right range but it hasn't been flat enough to open it up fully, seems abit overpowered and chinewalks abit over 4.5k, on flat water with a change of boxers would probably do 50mph.
The seats are similar to Lawrences, look the tits!

Our Phantom 16 will do about 53mph (brother reckons 55 but i have never seen it!) with a 100HP on it, when we had a 90HP Yahama it did just under 50mph so you doing quite well.
My Friends at Reddish Marine race tune Tohatsu!

Cheers guys,
Don't really want to mod the motor too much, leave it as is reliable and economical, its only 15ft and very light so goes extremely welll with the 70hp, most were fitted with 50hp Jonnyrudes and in some cases 60hp bigfoots. Has to be really flat to take it to flat out and trim out although we are still getting used to the boat. When the weather get abit calmer im sure we will see more speed think they got 44mph 4 up and that wasn't quite flat out.
White dials are a nice touch, the tohatsu came with the rev counter, trim gauge and a matching fuel tank guage has been fitted. The speedo only goes up to 35mph so that will be changed. It has a foot throttle too Any ideas for some graphics looks a bit plain at the moment.
