Im searching for pictures from the first ring series (18A, 20A and 21). Im trying to find I out what I want to do with my Shakespeare. The model looks the same.. I could restore my SP, or selling it and buy à Ribg or phantom (which i have to restore also, but i love these models).

Thanks on propose!

The deflector screen and dash from the Ring A was an evoloution moving away from the seperate dash and seperate clear screens that were seen in the seventies on sportsboats.
I remember they were always black when the first ones came out and quite square. It incorporated a deflector and dash all in one quite clever really.

Later models would see different colour combinations apart from black but more importantly a lipped front edge which deflected the wind at speed.
You could probably get one moulded from Extreme the current boatbuilders.

Or you could polish it up and rock old Skool style.
If you do a search on Bopatmad for My favourite Ring you should see lots of examples of Rings.
