Rooster

Had a run out in 'XS-IF', Nick Gilley's Buzzi/Sunseeker today....Wickard!

Love the two speed transmission, and of course the rooster.

I'll try it next time and see what happens. They could be OK!

Top speed about 75mph give or take, depending on atmospheric conditions of course. It is 2 speed transmission, first gear gets you up and on to the plane and makes it easier to manoeuvre around the harbour, then 2nd gear is manually engaged via an electronic switch round about 40mph to 50mph.

When you shift to high range, it sounds like the motors rev higher, but they don't, it's the humming/vibration from the surface piercing props as their speed increases with the higher ratio...sounds cool in the flesh.

The boat feels like you could really chuck it at anything (within reason)..very forgiving & predictable, and seems to make very easy work of 75mph.

I guess if you were into waterskiing & scuba-diving, with a boat like that & a short line, you could enjoy both hobbies at the same time!
