I do understand its unlikely to be the only red/orange 21 ring twin rig......but i'm sure i feckin recognise that boat from somewhere.

did it (perhaps) end up in scotland?

Looks like one of Jim Cramphorns old twins. All his boats were called waterbird(makers of the wrapping handles that the skiers use). He also had a triple with 2.4s in the 90's

Yes, I believe it was Jim Cramphorns ex boat, and it was called 'Waterbird'. this one had a notched transom, and the story I got was that he tried this setup (notched) and it wasn't as good as he'd hoped, so he only had it for a short while.

And yes, I think it went to Scotland.

I'm pretty sure that one is derived from the Seafire (which was in turn derived from the Apollo) as the Seafire was the only one to have that 'washboard' foredeck as I remember.

I bet in the right environment they are bags of fun.....i invisage grown men, slightly drink assisted...having a drag race up the thames........that would be fab

Jon................recal the comparassen i gave to my brother (friday on the blower)? I had him round this afternoon telling me how he's gonna "teach me a lesson" in his little whatever it is! ah bless him.

He should have hung around half an hour to here the Promax start for the 1st time............that would have shut him up! I'm still all excited

but seeing as you asked........he's much better. After deciding to poor 1/2 a bottle of seastar hyd oil all over my boat floor i made him do some donkey work.

thank feck for his weenie!............could you imagine how much destruction he could cause if he was full-size!!!
