I picked up a brill keyring torch, and a couple action-cameras. Thought it was quite interesting once I got stuck in and started talking to people.

Well the cover was on on Thursday when I was there and I thought just that... "what's the point?"
It was a wrap and I recall there was a stand in the new sports boat area advertising wraps so I see the connection. That stand wad unmanned as well - just as several others were in that section. The Royal Navy had gone home and it was only 3 o clock.i mean what WAS the point? I went to buy a new trailer but there were only two manufacturers there, I ended up buying one from someone not even exhibiting.
On the plus side I didn't get into trouble with Mrs DoubleSix for leaving her in West Quay shopping centre for too long this year!

if it is a 38 KV they ought to put it in the livery its famous for, the Miami Vice editions look stunning, that just looked sad. such a shame.

Anyone going to the Southampton boatshow and hoping to see lots of race / high performance boats are going to be disappointed.

Its a good show for what it is and there were interesting things to see.

But the raceboat market is so small. Would be great to see a designated raceboat show again, but:
- would the manufacturers really support it ?
- are there enough buyers to make it worthwhile for the manufacturers ?
- could a good enough venue be found at the right costs?

Probably a no to all the above at this time???
