strange but true

I saw this today on the beach at Cowes,the front wheel drops and also underneath the boat is a set catapiller tracks .

bit of a drag underneath, can't see if these retract into the hull?

I think I spend more time mooring and dinghy-hell-ing than driving my boat. And spend the rest of the time while supposedly relaxing, worrying about the anchorage.

So T.D. can you retrofit these tracks to an Extreme? I'd like mine road legal please

I you look closely you can see that the hull opens up and the wheels come out. Kinda like an airplane.
