Strange Norwich

Whilst cruising through Norwich i stumbled upon 2 quite exotic craft!
the grey coloured machine with the wheels is an old landing craft of some description from the Vietnam war, the other thing i havent a clue what it is or what its used for looks like its got a Series III Landy on the roof! might mean something to somebody

I think its a computer graphic, dont think its a real ship. In both pics the people are in the same place?

Correct !!!!

The Oculus(above) and Infinitus are genuine designs from a genuine shipbuilder called Schopfer Yachts in Boston MS

The Infinitus looks even stranger !!!

This must be such a weird feeling to be onboard and see the bow of the ship sinking in front of you and having to catch all your belongings as the fall as the ship flips.

FLIP (FLoating Instrument Platform) is an 355 feet long open ocean research ship designed to partially flood and pitch backward 90 degrees, resulting in only the front 55 feet of the vessel pointing up out of the water. FLIP was designed to study wave height, acoustic signals, water temperature and density, and to collect meteorological data.
