If you click through the never built Tom Montgomery-Swan boat you'll get to the BananaShark Stirling, all drawn by the very talented "Scand" on here!

the silver cougar looks the same deck lay up as my old wooden cougar cat ex tracey clarke, obviously they made more than the one, but the back cowling that runs to the outboard looks the same and are many variations, would be interesting to know if the same boat

That hull looks like the old Miss Embassy 1974 I think she was the only one to have the chine cut out at the rear the same as that Planatec hull.

I thought the same. The missing part of the deck starts where the air intakes were located.
I remember a picture that Flying Fish has posted a while ago. It showed a hull that looked exactly like Miss Embassy but was black and white, named Turbomarine / Firebird Racing Team. Turbomarine was an Italian company that built boats to Shead designs (similar to the Tropimere Turbosport). I hope it is a hull built by them or Cantiere Firebird that we see on the pics of Nigel's link. Would be very sad if is Miss Embassy.
