@ Burty & Scottyboy

Yes its loads of fun with some swell running and light to no winds. they are great versatile boats, my partner enjoys coming for a run (now, )

This was a first ride in the boat https://vimeo.com/55696706

I like just taking it for a swim to sometimes, turning the motor off and floating around.

The thing about the video is generally that is done 2 up with a co pilot, their is no weight in the front of the boat (a 5 year old could lift the front of the boat up) so going surf side 1 up is an educated risk, even 5 knots of wind is enough to flip you end over end being a tunnel hull design and light in the front end.

Make for some good footage though.

The area is in Sydney Australia, on the northern beaches is where I live, the place in the film is called Umina/Box Head on the Central Coast, by boat its about 8-10 minutes (fast boat) across Broken Bay to Umina, by car to do the same trip it takes about 1 hour 40 minutes.

But looking at the pictures of both your boats, it seems you both have a bloody good time yourselves, great looking boats. I think you would enjoy the Tcat though, especially the fuel bill.

Here are some photo aerial views of the place where the video was filmed.

This is the distance from Palm Beach over to Umina/ Box Head at the entrance to the Hawkesbury River and Pacific Ocean

This is the playground

A great place to train crossing river bars and navigating breaking waves.
