Welcome to the forum, the old stuff is the best !

Simon, if you see Pete in the near future, ask him if he has still got the model of the 35' Limit Up. Anyway, will you be at the Brass Monkey? If so may see you there.

Either - it's the same hull - it just depends how fast you want to go 73mph+ with a 200XS in the race boat (so far) and the new Verado 250 is doing 65mph although I'm told it will loosen up with a few more hours on the engine. Just need someone to order one with a 300XS and a lifter to see what we can get out of a leisure version!

Looking forward to Coniston in October - we want the RIB F1 record!

I think it says Faberge racing on the Planatec, which makes it Macho. And the stern I think is actually that reliable old runner Slipstream of Brian Jardine, who is a very nice chap. (Lancer Corniche I think). By the way who designed the Lancer Corniche?? Very similar wrap around screen to the early Shead designs.

Think it came from an old CTC runner "Ivory Coast Express" which slipped below the waves in Lyme Bay. Was recovered later and sold on and became the basis of the Canicometoo, Conserve or Perish, + one other race boats. then got a revamped deck and came out as the Lancer Corniche.

I have just bought a Lancer Corniche 33 Express. Judging by its condition it could have been the one under Lyme Bay-nah, its not that bad.
You know how it happens - you see it in a field - fall in love - then explain it to the wife when you get home 'honest dear its a classic'
If you have any pics, performance figures, specs, any info at all I would be gratefull.
