to true dave. with the tabs some boats have them angled with the hull and some flat(mine are angled) does it make any difference

Turning in is usually a faster setup but less stable.

Tabs can be either way - parallel to the water or the V, also depends on your preference!

another guess, the grab handle at the back doesnt seem central to the drives/exhausts, but that could be the angle of the shot
