It is my design, I built it and I produce it and it´s me driving it in the videos at youtube.
I also own the molds and rights to GoCat 430 wich is an old Gozzi design from Norway.

Hello Scand! I looked at the Berserk C12 and it looks very nice and i look forward to more pictures an most of all some videos of the tests, I am a bit puzzled about the hull design thou and wonder how it handle waves with that trimaranhull, Please post som more pics and some videos, go for it, I like it.
No No
Its the Chinese one that looks like a Cougar Club Splash that Olli has the short cut for.

As a year has nearly flown by - an up-date on the Feline 4.1.

Actaully took the covers off the plug recently and put a bit more dura-build on! Now to find some sanding time!

Looking nice Adam! I'm really looking forward to see the finished boat.

I found this one a few days before, sorry if it's a re-post:

What a size of step in the hull, that's a 3 pointer,
I have 10ft 3 pointer here, the Andrea Chesman one from 1986,
They maybe scaled down the hull from a 38 footer but forgot to scale down the step.

Hi ,
There are at least half a dozen Cougar Mini cats on Guernsey running various motors.
One had a 40hp Mariner but they seem to run best with 25-30.
They were originally here for the class 1 powerboat week and were raced for fun around havelet bay.
The one I have is supposed to be kevlar !! at the moment it is jst primed but will probably be done gloss black like my 25

Hi Phil - thanks for the interest and just to answer as best as I can at the moment:

The really interesting part will be getting the deck how I want it / drawn it. In many ways it has a bit of my old 3C Cat (which is now racing in France) in shape and lay-out - just scaled down a lot!

So we have a two person cockpit, side by side, small side deck with radiused edge.

Boat weight will likely to be around 175kg for the first boat, plus engine etc. Could easily get it lower but that will be a good starting point.

Powerwise will be interesting as the RCD needs to be considered very carefully and not totally straight forward. There wil be a lot of testing to do and most likely with a 50hp to start with - but can see a max power rating to be more likely 40hp.

Looking forward to making the deck - just hope I can find some time to get stuck into it.

Think the boat is going to be a whole lot of fun - will be great for a late evening calm water blast!

Same here,
Searching for 15-16ft cat like the one in the pic above...
Kar marine has them, but can't find a used one for sale.
Are there any other manufacturers of this kind of boats in Europe?

Which proves you can't make a small cat & sell it for what it's worth.
If you want a inexpensive one, get an old circuit cat & rework it.

going to get back onto my long term 'small cat' project! Still got the deck to finish, but otherwise everything is there including an engine.
