Winner Stapley 16

Dear Members,

Pictures of a Winner Stapley 16 that I have been asked to deal with by a solicitor dealing with a deceased estate in South East London / Surrey borders. Any advice on the best way of dealing with it would be much appreciated.

Looks pretty unloved and don't think it's been out of the garage in 20 years or more(?)

I am a general probate valuer and this is out of my expertise!

Many thanks,

Ian

Unless someone knows something I don’t... id have said in its current ‘Unchecked’ condition... around a grand? It’s likely the motors seized after all that time but obviously would need checking to be sure! It’s something I’d be interested in for sure, how does probate usually work with selling off the estate?

Kind regards

Dear Johnty,

Thanks for your reply and I fully agree about condition!

The solicitor would need to consider any offer on behalf of the estate.

Obviously, anyone interested would want to inspect it first and it is in Sutton (not far from the train station to give an indication of location) I think the solicitor would prefer things to move quickly on this as the building is sold and due to complete.

I doubt there is any paperwork on the boat (should this be required - not sure?)

Happy to liaise with the solicitor and, with their permission, be available for an inspection.

Ian
