2001 225hp opti l blowing fuse

Hi all

Apologies for just joining and immediately asking for advice and guidance. I will try to reciprocate over time

My opti is blowing the 20 amp the protects the coils starter trim etc leaving me dead in the water until I swap the fuse

I think I have a poor connection at one of the coils as I seem to lose power before it blows


It seems I need a new harness to change the plug to the coil

Could this infermittent connection lead to the fuse blowing or is it likely something else?
