225 promax??

have a 225 promax
has been great, up until yesterday!!
started fine as was palnning to go out today
then stopped after about 5 seconds
primed the fuel up and there was nothing
replaced primer and primed up fine
now engine still doesnt go...doesnt even try
there is a spark and i can smell alot of fuel
im hopefully handing it over to bert to be able to diagnose and sort the problem, but wondered if anyone had had this problem before and possibly lead us to the answer a bit quicker
cheers
chris

chris, you can't smell fuel cus none is getting through, there is fuel getting to the pump but not getting past the injectors. Hopefully bert will sort it cheaply and very quickly

I saw this happen to a boat at cobbs quay. It has been sat for a while and the oil in the fuel had seperated and settled in the bottom of the tank. once the fuel in the line was gone it was sucking pure oil out of the tank.
So pull the fuel line off and double check its petrol coming up and not oil?
