AQ120 water problems

Gents....and lasses too!

I have a Volvo Penta AQ120 circa 1977, never had any problems with it whatsoever until after its winterization this year I tried to fire it up yesterday and rusty coloured pressured water started to come out of the overflow pipe on the manifold straight into the bildge.

Not knowing what is what, stop the engine straight away. Does anyone have any ideas to what this can be? Blockage? gasket? before I start stripping it down.....or worse trusting one of those marine engineers who look at it and do that suck of air impression, as to say, this si going to cost ya and rip me off!

Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
matt
