Dont quote me but i think "Night nurse" on here runs one on his offshore boat without any probs? Looks like a merc pump too which are ok with the top motor bracket mod to stop them breaking as they are plastic. Dunno what HP there rated to either?
Think ADAM at K4 sell's em?

The best lifter is the Stainless Marine Gorilla without any doubt in my opinion, however on a cat used for leisure purposes (my race boat is very hard on equipment) it would probably be OK - we broke one of those fairly quickly and then broke it again after reinforcing it!

Lifter

There is a power lifter for sale in the trading threads which may be worth a look at.

Yes - a painted Bobs Machine Shop lifter.

We have always had good results with them - although I tend to always go below their maximum power rating for British waters.

We used a 10" set-back model on the Mobil boat - now NightNurses - and that boat was the most successful rough water boat for many years so took a lot of punishment. Very few problems with the lifter.

However they (lifters in general) need careful fitting, transoms to be true (flat) and of course regular maintenance.

I generally use as little set back as possible (needed) from the lifter now - and now use the Bobs 4" set-back model the most. This is their heaviest duty model. In stock at K4+ !
