Thanks for the photos Matt - certainly not a Manos moment (I'll see if I can dig that one out for you!) looking good and it is a boat certainly worth considering, but I think I want a weekender which would mean I would have to fit a cabin etc in it as well ............ I think you will end up with a great boat!

H-actually, it is gonna get a cabin. Just the right amount of headroom for you, too.

Cool - when you have some drawings or photos of one done could you send me something?
Would a Seatek on an Arneson fit on that, and what are the implications of having a single Arneson? I have seen the ProVee boats do the chine walk dance a lot - that might upset the wife (to be) and the dog!

He he. For some reason, that's funnier now than it was the first time around.
If you paint it, for feks sake don't paint it that orange colour.

Not sure where you'd fit the Seatek - reckon it'd end up in the cabin.

All the Arrows have been built single big block - although there is also an OB one just ordered too. Sidewinder was twin small blocks, so that could be an option:

Thanks Carl. I did consider trying to track sidewinder down - got a couple of contacts - but once CC found the arrow (he has all the credit for that), and I also researched the original magnum hulls a bit more, I realised the arrow was a no brainer. My understanding is that Magnum hulls run out of handling much over 70, and take monster HP to do it too - hopefully the pad on the Arrow resolves that.

Matt,
Your Arrow will be awesome! I vote for the Single Big Block.
If you want to run an Arneson you will have to fill in the transom notch. If it has one.
Here are a few pics of my original 27 sport. It's getting new engines this spring!
