battery for a 5.7

i have 2 x Vetus marine battery Bat 12070 12v 70ah (20h) CCA (EN) 650A
reserve capacity (25A) 110min 270LT

were new about 6 years but left standing so now wont take a charge and i need to replace them.
they look pretty substantial but at about £160 a guy are very expensive
anyone got any clues as to what else i might consider that would be as good.

thanks chaps. for the novice marine battery buyer but an electronics engineer, i can see that i have batteries that are fairly similar spec in about 80ah with cold crank amps in the 700 region yet i am looking now at three batteries that are £150 Vetus, £100 Numex, £50 Alphaline all each.
all look the same spec. any clues ?

I'd be suprised if Vetus actually manufacture their own batteries, so they probably buy them in and stick their own labels on them. We are talking "marine" after all...

The Alphaline has a good warranty, so in my view, no contest.
