Bennett wiring
Before I start drawing a new diagram, does anyone know the easiest and most reliable way, to convert the bennett trim tab rockers, with the Pro trim switches. The Pro trim switches are only single pole and I beleive the Bennet rockers are double pole.
Any ideas welcome.
Thanks

I don't think you can do it without double pole as each action is firstly activating the pump in one direction or the other and secondly activating the relevant solenoid to direct fluid one side or the other.
Try to wire it single pole and of course you have both the up and down wires activated at once.
From memory you have five wires to see to:
Orange = positive supply
Red = port solenoid
Green = stbd solenoid
Yellow = pump up or down Can't remember which
Blue = pump up or down
so four positions are
O-RY
O-RB
O-GY
O-GB

it will be very messy as you will have to use the pro trim switches to fire 4 seperate double pole relays, a better solution might be to see if you could change the actual switches for double pole versions

Done a circuit diagram, with 4 double pole relays but can't find a supplier for them. Could use single relays but as Josh said, would need diodes on the pump wires. Have put a question on Scream and Fly, trying to find the manufacturer of the switches, as the body of the switches are made for single or double pole switches. The saga continues.

Try RS or Farnell componants for the relays

I have doctored the original Bennett switches and fitted them into the Pro housing. Hope they will last long enough, to find double pole switches. Thanks for all the help.
Pete. (Pic of switches I need to find)

These do everything you need as in environmentally sealed double pole double throw mom - off - mom with a 2" lever.
http://www.apem.com/toggles.html
You might have to thread the lever yourself

I've looked at "Carling's" site and on http://www.apem.com/toggles.html but nothing with the threaded toggle.
