Bleach!!

Hey everyone,

Just got back to using my boat after a week or 2 or rubbash weather... and the outboard leg has alot!!! of weed on it...

I've ready somewhere on here about putting a black sack around the leg and pouring a something into it to kill the weed... Does this do any damage to the outboard??

I was thinking I would go down this evening, put a black sack around the leg and pour in a bottle of bleach, then hopefully when I go out tomorrow morning the weed will fall off?

Please let me know if this is a stupid idea!!

Cheers,

Andy

oh, is there somewhere around the harbour where you can plug in a pressure washer then? I've got all the gear, just didn't think there was anywhere to do it without going alll the way to back to St Peeetey

I just so happen to have a nice petrol pressure washer that you can use, all you need then is a hose, and no, there isn't anywhere to plug in a leccy one.
You still gonna navigate for me? Have you spoken to Charlie about his gear?

Cheers, James
