Bow tank

How big is your bow tank... Trying to guesstimate how much I need for a 8m boat

They're all different for different boats, it really depends on how much it needs, get some ballast (try 50kg to start with) and weigh it and stick it in the nose of the boat, take the boat out in the rough and see if it's enough, the only option is find a similar setup to yours that has a bow tank, even different props can make a huge difference!

Thanks cookee. I haven't got that chance, she's in bits and I want to reduce the size of the tank while the deck is up. I can easily partition her existing tank off to make anything between 50-300ltrs approx! How big a tank was in your race rib? Similar size and engine etc.

It was around 150 litres - there were times we could have done with more though! Totally different hull though so not sure how much that means, it wouldn't have 300 litres if it wasn't needed, have you talked to the previous owners then?
