bow tank plooom

just finished fitting a bow tank to my ring 18
took it out for a test yesterday and at around 40ish+ with the pickup down there was a ploom of water comming from the pickup, almost looked like the hose had popped off, on closer inspection, it hadnt, and we had picked up water in to the tank, just wondering if this is common practice
also how long should i expect for my tank 90 litres ish, take to fill as the breather didnt do any work at any point
cheers
chris

you should know when the tank is full because water will be coming out of the breather. what do you me that it didnt do any work???
describe the ploooooom too as i aint got a clue but you will get some spray off the pickup because its dragging in the water i doubt you would see it from the drivers seat though
should take about 1 minute to fill

didnt see any water comming out of breather indicating tank wasnt full
i did see the plooooom from the drivers seat, like i said, almost like the pipe wasnt connected got to have been 3/4 foot up in the air
was down for longer than a minuite collectivly too, ie tick over and at speed
but like i said, no water cam out the breather so wasnt full, but had taken some water on as wen we were back on dry land, dumped it and there was probobly 10-15 litres in there

also mate another subject, fitted the new throttle but dont think im getting full
cud ya pop round and have a gander
cheers mate

it wont pick up on tickover, doesn't sound like its going low enough into the water to pick up properly hence the ploooooooooom.
