bravo 1 on an XR2?

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if a bravo 1 24p is a bit too much for an XR2 on a 1.87 CLE box? Bullet is currently sitting about 100mm below bottom of transom on a marshan 18 (not gonna tinker with heights untill engine is run in) or am I better with a mirage 23 (I seem to have three of them!)
I know Marshans need bow lift hence the bravo, any ex Marshaneers out there? Your experience is much appreciated!

Sounds a bit tall but I guess you won't know until you try. You will want it to spin at over over 6500 to make the most of the xr2. Laser 21 or chopper 21 / 22 is usually a good shout but like I say, best to.give it a try. I forget but think max rpm is 6800 on a stock 2.0 200hp xr2 although people do run them at 7k plus.
