Sorry for the later reply back, i have only just bought my boat and engine so in the process of having it stripped and re-built, i am going to put all about it soon as we have found out that the engine is a Bowtie block, very rare!, and to that its the tall block and factory race spec!, not many of them about!,and the internals are like big bucks, thats all i am saying for now as want to list everything when i have been over to see it and take pics and stuff....very excited!!!

"24502506...454T..............4-bolt, Bowtie, Gen.V, Race prep, 10.2 "tall" deck height, siamesed bores, 4.25" semi-finished bores, can be bored to 4.60"

The kinsler efi will be stripped and re-built too, should have some mad H.P.!!

any advice from you guys welcome!, cheers.

Dan , you have a loud " BIG BLOCK " V8 ski boat . Cool !
If you need any advise on what to do , cams , heads etc. let me know .
We won many races and built all our own motors in house , we had a small budget and needed to be self sufficient .
Depending on your top rpm you could make up to 800 HP and 800 ft lbs on pump gas with good reliability .
Good luck with your project .

Seriously , let me know what you're running , heads / compression , bore/stroke and I can help you . We've built dozens of big blocks both marine and street .
Anything else is just a chainsaw motor !
Is your Kinsler constant flow , Lucas timed or EFI ?
