capalano helm

my steering is becoming harder to turn to the right,its a latham ram with a capalano 1250v helm,have checked the obvious,any ideas or is it time for a new helm?

just an idea

you could always do 3 left hand turns like,i think, george roper(george&mildrid fame) had to do on his motorcycle combination

take the valves out and blow then through with an air line.
just take the bolt out either side and slide them out, you will lose some oil so make sure you refill after
