in sb&rm they tested a ballistic with reverse scallop chines.. what are they then??

The Chine, or outer spray rail, usually has it's underside just about horizontal, or just turned down slightly.

A reverse chine, like that that of the revengers, has a very steep 'downturn' on the chine.
This is to reduce or eliminate the tendency to instability in roll, or chine walking.

The scallop is the shape, a semi- circle. If you mean where is it on the boat, its visible on the far port side.
