Cook Hydraulic Lifter

I've just fitted this and only used it once in fairly rough conditions,I stripped and cleaned it prior to fitting and set up the correct drag on the side thrust washers, just noticed the top near side bolt has allowed the alloy body on the slot to eat into the (Nylon?) thrust washer and the lower one on that side now has some clearance, the other side is fine.is this due to the torgue effect of the engine? and is it normal I know another boat that was out in the same water broke their lifter so it was quite extreme conditions. Are the thrust washer available in the UK ?,I think I can turn the washer for now but would be happier to replace them.any comments appreciated,Thanks Nic
