Deisel Timing

Hi, can anyone tell me what sort of timing light I need to set the injector pump timing on a Mercruiser 7.3L V8 turbo deisel. Cheers.

You Can Us A Timeing Light But You Will Need A Snap-on Deisel Pulse Adaptor. As You Dont Have A Inductive Pick Up. Dial Gauge Is Easyer.

Thanks Josh, I've been told i could use a Gunson 77089 Diesel Adaptor with Timing Light, would this work as it for a direct injection and not IDI?
