Dirty Bottom

Hi Guys/Girls some of you may have noticed on the SEPA Poker Run Pics i'm having trouble with a mucky bottom.

What's the best way to polish it and get a nice shine, so next time I'm showing off in public I won't have to be embarrassed???

Seriously though looking at buying a silverline polisher for £40 new from eBay , but with a huge choice of polishing attachments which one/ones do I buy???

Some one said use car polish, it's cheaper does the same thing. Any views ideas, previous experience?.?

Yes you can use most polish and compounds , if you are going to be using any polish or compound a lot , just be careful of the amount of ammonia in them , its not at all good for you try and get ammonia free .
I would definitely spend a bit more on polisher as they do have a hard life .

This one is excellent, not cheap but you have for your money .
You need a good polisher tool to do the job, at low speed (select speed 1).

The Makita is brilliant, I'd be wary of cheaper ones as they may not have the torque, and definitely not the reliability of the Makita.

Lambswool head for gelcoat, the compound/polish needed will depend on the state of the gel to start with

I have a silverline one... Its so far lasted about 6 years no problem...

Makita £200.

Um apart from the handle on the other way, I cant see a difference...

Don't get me wrong, if it was my living I would buy the makita. But once a month use there's no need.
